Telugu warriors lift CCL 5 trophy

The fifth season of the highly popular Celebrity Cricket League concluded today, with a thrilling finale at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad. Led by Venkatesh, the Telugu Warriors emerged victorious against the Chennai Rhinos. Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, the Tollywood stars delivered some impressive bowling and energetic fielding, preventing the Chennai batsmen from gaining momentum.

Despite their efforts, the Chennai Rhinos could only manage a total of 132 runs by the end of their innings. The Telugu Warriors, on the other hand, comfortably secured victory with almost two overs to spare, showcasing their exceptional skill and style throughout the tournament. Notably, this marks the first time the Telugu Warriors have claimed the championship title in the CCL.
